I believe a photograph can be beautiful without asking a moment to be anything other than what it is. A glance across the room. A hand on a shoulder. The pause before the next thing begins.
My approach leaves room for those moments, with gentle direction when you need it and space when you don’t. The aim is simple: to make photographs you recognize yourselves in.
Based in Chicago, photographing weddings, couples, families, and personal milestones throughout the Midwest.

555green is based in Chicago and travels throughout the Midwest. Include your location when you inquire, and we can discuss the details.
We’re not used to being photographed. Is that okay?
Absolutely. There is no need to practice a pose or be anyone other than yourselves. We’ll take it at an easy pace, with simple direction along the way.
How do we choose a session?
Start with the collections in the portfolio. Then share what you have in mind, your preferred date, and the people taking part. We can discuss the right approach together.
Do you offer wedding films?
Yes. Wedding and elopement videography is part of the work. Mention photography, videography, or both when you get in touch.
How do we begin?
